WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICY
Warranty
American
Linear Manufacturers; warrants all Slide Assemblies and Bearing Components
supplied to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year
from date of invoice. ALM’s sole obligation under this warranty is
limited to furnishing, without additional charge, a replacement for, or at
its option, repairing or issuing credit for any product which is returned
freight prepaid. This warranty shall not apply to any unit, which has been
subjected to misuse, improper operating conditions, or any alterations.
The seller makes no claim that its products are intended for every use or
purpose to which they may be applied. IN
NO EVENT SHALL ALM BE LIABLE FOR ANY
SPECIAL,
INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
NOTICE
Failure,
improper selection or improper use of the products described herein or
related items can cause personal injury and property damage. ALM provides
product options for further investigation by users having technical
expertise. It is important the user thoroughly analyze all aspects of the
application and review / understand these options. Due to the variety of
operating conditions and applications for these products, the user,
through analysis and testing, is solely responsible for making the final
selection of products and determining that all performance, safety and
warning requirements of the application are met.
The products, including, without limitation, product features,
specifications, designs, availability and pricing, are subject to change
by ALM at any time without notice.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation
of orders consisting of standard products, for any reason, is subject to a
15% cancellation charge. Cancellation of orders for special products and
nonstandard assemblies are subject to a cancellation charges to be
determined by ALM.
REPAIR RETURN POLICY
Before
returning any product to ALM for evaluation / repair, please contact ALM
for an RMA number. Include a
written explanation of the problem with the return.
Before any work is performed, ALM will inspect the unit and provide
repair cost, if any. Please
be advised ALM may determine it is not cost-effective to repair the unit.
